A beautiful winter days walk up to the Otanewainuku summit and then to the falls.
Looking back at Mt Te Aroha returning after an overnight hike to Te Whare Okioki, Kaimai Range.
This is where the sparrows are keeping out of the rain. A change from peaking the seed from my new lawn.
Good morning at The Lakes.
Good morning Pahoia.
Wait and a new moon appears.

This is where the sparrows are keeping out of the rain. A change from peaking the seed from my new lawn. Good morning at The Lakes. Good morning Pahoia. Wait and a new moon appears. A challenge to you. 15 mins before sunset get your phone out and take a picture. You see so much more this way. This is so much easier than taking selfies. ☺️ I started the day heading out to look at Herekino Forest. A faded sign said 'Rahui' and missing any DOC presence. A small track lead into thick bush. The road was narrow so I couldn't stop to capture the spot. Tonight's sunset. What a difference a day makes.
