Apple Pie all set for many after dinner hungry nights.

The Indonesian festival held last weekend was full of colour and culture.
Cyclone Gabrielle has been severe. I'm so glad we live on a sheltered ridge protected by the Bay of Plenty and the Kaimai Ranges. A national State of Emergency has been declared where so many people are still in danger of livelihoods and their home.
A good month spent with other creative people 'doing our thing'.
I took this shot at the Historic Village on week one of a short Photography course.
As a diversion from renovation, this is day one on Toi Ohomai photography course. Taken from the camera screen of another novice. Oohh wait for the genius to appear. Who else engages in the pressure of new stuff?
Picture of my Cherry Laurel in flower. Let the wind blow alright, no time for a sea shanty today here in Tauranga the gusts are really strong.

A nice midday walk in the strong wind today. My life is part humour, part roses, part thorns. Post TA the beauty of nature continues to call. A young tui chirping warning tunes. Spring is on its way in Katikati this morning. 18°C lovely.
